Knowledge · FAQ

Everything about B2B training at ISA.

Frequently asked questions from companies about our closed trainings — from format to funding.

What is a "closed training" in B2B?

+

A closed (in-company) training is a programme prepared exclusively for the employees of one organisation, as opposed to open trainings where participants come from different companies. Main advantages: (1) the entire programme can be tailored to your team's stack, context and level, (2) materials and case studies are based on real cases from the client's company (under NDA), (3) the price for a group is usually better than the sum of individual enrolments, (4) the team works together on a concrete business challenge. All trainings in our B2B catalogue are closed trainings.

How do I choose the right training from the catalogue?

+

The best start is a free 30-minute briefing call with our consultant. During the call we diagnose: business goals, current and target competency level, technology stack, team size and structure, and the preferred format and schedule. Based on this we recommend 1-3 programmes from the catalogue or propose a tailor-made training.

What are the B2B training categories at infoShare Academy?

+

The main closed-training categories are: AI & Data (from prompting through RAG and agents to fine-tuning), Cloud & DevOps (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD), Security (OWASP, secure coding, pentesting, AI Act), Frontend (React, TypeScript, performance, a11y), Backend (Java, Python, .NET, microservices), Product & UX, leadership trainings, IT soft skills, and QA/testing.

How long does a standard B2B training last?

+

The most common lengths are: 1 day (8h) — leadership workshops and single topics; 2-3 days (16-24h) — medium-depth trainings; 4-5 days (32-40h) — intensive workshop programmes; 4-12 weeks — development academies with mentoring. The length depends on how deep the topic is and how much time the team can realistically dedicate.

How many people can take part in a closed training?

+

The optimal group size is 8-14 people — it allows a hands-on workshop with individual attention from the trainer and code reviews. We choose smaller groups for advanced topics, and larger groups (15-20 people) are run with two trainers. Lecture-format webinars can reach a much larger audience.

Can I order a tailor-made training if nothing in the catalogue fits?

+

Yes. The process: (1) a briefing with the team lead, our consultant and a subject-matter expert, (2) designing the programme — modules, schedule, format, (3) approval and any adjustments, (4) delivery according to the schedule. Every programme from the catalogue is also adapted to the client before delivery — that's the standard, not an option.

What formats do you deliver training in — online, on-site or hybrid?

+

All three formats. Online live (Zoom/Teams/Meet) — ideal for distributed teams; sessions are recorded. On-site — at the client's premises or in our space in Gdańsk; best for intensive workshops. Hybrid — a mix of online and on-site, especially for development academies.

Do the trainings end with certificates?

+

Yes — every participant receives a personalised completion certificate listing the programme scope, number of hours and delivery date. For selected tracks (Kubernetes, AWS, AI, Cybersecurity) we also offer preparation for industry certifications.

How is a B2B training quoted?

+

The price is set individually and depends on the programme length, group size, format (online vs on-site) and the extent of customisation. You'll receive a quote within 48h of the briefing, with no obligation. VAT invoice — issued after the programme ends or in instalments.

Are the 0% instalments really interest-free?

+

Yes. Academy instalments (up to 24 months) are interest-free — you pay exactly the full course price, just spread over time. No hidden fees, no insurance add-ons. PayU instalments are also available 0% (3-10 months) with no extra cost.

Can a B2B training be funded?

+

Yes. infoShare Academy is listed in the Register of Development Services (BUR), which enables funding for trainings for micro, small and medium companies. We support the whole application process — from identifying the programme to the final settlement. Details on the /dofinansowania-bur page.

Can I combine several funding sources?

+

Yes. The most common combination is partial BUR/KFS funding (up to 80%) plus 0% instalments for your own contribution. We review every case individually — an advisor will help you find the best setup for your situation.

Are the trainings available in English?

+

Yes — some programmes are delivered in English, mainly for international teams. Trainers run the sessions in English, and materials (slides, repositories, documentation) are fully in English. For larger programmes, a bilingual version is also possible.

How long does the BUR funding process take?

+

Typically 30-60 days from submitting the application to the regional operator. We support you through the whole process — from identifying the right programme to the final settlement. It's best to start the process 2 months before the planned course start.

How do you measure the training results?

+

We measure results on several levels: a satisfaction survey after each session, a pre-test and post-test of knowledge gained, a survey 30 and 90 days after the programme checking how the competencies are used at work, and for development academies — business KPIs agreed during the briefing. Results are summarised in a final report for the team lead.

Can someone who is unemployed get full funding?

+

Yes. People registered with the local Employment Office (PUP) can receive up to 95% funding for the course from the Labour Fund. You submit the application at your local PUP, and we provide the documents you need.

Is KFS funding only for employees?

+

Yes. The National Training Fund (KFS) is for working people (employment contract or B2B with a primary client). Funding covers up to 80% in some priority sectors. The application is submitted through the employer.

What if my funding application is rejected?

+

You can switch to instalment or one-time payment at any time, with no extra cost. Some participants start with instalments and, once they receive a positive BUR decision during the course, switch the payment to funding.

Does the VAT invoice include VAT?

+

For private individuals — educational services are VAT-exempt (0% invoice). For companies — net price plus 23% VAT. The invoice is issued after the contract is signed and can be split according to the instalment schedule.

Do I get access to recordings after the course?

+

For live online courses we provide recordings. Video (self-learning) courses come with lifetime access.

How do I settle the course using BUR funding?

+

We help you go through the Register of Development Services (BUR, Baza Usług Rozwojowych) process. Get in touch — we'll guide you step by step through getting funding for your situation.

Do we need to set up an environment?

+

No. We provide virtual machines so training runs without environment setup.

Can I pay in instalments?

+

Yes. We offer instalment payments via PayU and help you apply for public funding programmes.

Do you issue invoices?

+

Yes, we issue VAT invoices for corporate trainings.

Will I receive a completion certificate?

+

Yes. After completing the course you receive an infoShare Academy certificate.

Can the training be tailored to our company?

+

Yes. Every B2B training is designed around your team's needs.
