OpenZFS is a modern, open-source file system and volume manager that provides advanced features for data storage, protection, and management. Originating from ZFS (Zettabyte File System), originally developed by Sun Microsystems, OpenZFS is widely used on platforms such as Linux, FreeBSD, and macOS.
